Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of ESG strategies, frameworks, and governance aligned with organizational objectives and global regulations including UAE, GCC, Europe, and North America.
- Develop, maintain, and govern ESG policies, controls, documentation, and operating models, ensuring audit-ready and regulator-aligned practices.
Climate Risk & Net Zero
- Design and execute climate risk assessments (physical and transition), Net Zero roadmaps, and decarbonization initiatives across banking, infrastructure, real estate, enterprise and energy portfolios.
- Integrate ESG and climate risk considerations into enterprise risk management, sustainable finance initiatives, and capital planning.
Reporting & Regulatory Alignment
- Prepare and review ESG and climate disclosures aligned with CSRD (ESRS), ISSB / IFRS S1 & S2, TCFD, GRI, GHG Protocol, ISO 14001, and SBTi.
- Oversee sustainability performance monitoring, KPI development, and ESG data management.
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Manage cross-functional coordination across risk, finance, legal, operations, engineering, procurement, and communications teams.
- Engage with regulators, authorities, investors, and external stakeholders on ESG, climate, and sustainability matters.
Program & Project Management (Global Software Implementations)
- Lead end-to-end project management for global ESG, climate-risk, and governance software implementations across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and APAC.
- Own delivery governance including project scoping, timelines, resourcing, risk management, and client communications for multi-stakeholder implementations.
- Coordinate cross-functional delivery teams (product, engineering, data, customer success, and advisory) to ensure on-time, audit-ready, and scalable client outcomes.
- Drive client adoption through structured implementation roadmaps, training, change management, and post-go-live optimization.
