Role Overview
GreenFi is seeking talented and passionate full-stack developers to join our growing engineering team. As a full-stack developer, you will design, build, and maintain scalable AI-driven ESG and sustainability solutions. You will work closely with product, design, and data teams to deliver high-quality software that empowers organizations to meet ESG and climate goals.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, adaptable, and passionate about modern web technologies, cloud computing, and delivering impactful solutions in the sustainability and climate-tech space.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and testable code across the full technology stack
- Develop high-quality web applications and internal software tools
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs, microservices, and serverless solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Analyze and optimize existing applications for performance, scalability, and security
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and technical issues
- Participate in code reviews, maintain coding standards, and share knowledge
- Stay current with emerging technologies, best practices, and modern software development trends
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of hands-on software development experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js
- Proven experience with js and modern front-end development practices
- Strong knowledge of database design and management (SQL and/or NoSQL)
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative workflows
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and serverless computing
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is preferred
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Front-end data visualization (D3.js, Chart.js)
- Experience with testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Technical & Soft Skills Required
- Technical Expertise: JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, Node.js, MySQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and debugging skills
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn and implement new technologies and frameworks
